Lewis Fautzi returns to MORD after a string of releases for Soma, Pole and his own Faut Section imprint. The title track resounds to frosty synth loops and fractured percussion, with this combination unfolding over lead-weight kicks. On «Danger or Threat», Fautzi goes deeper. Reverberating claps and subtle filters are to the fore as he sketches out a dubby but still dancefloor-focused track. In contrast, «Confused» is a pared back minimal track. Led by a galloping groove, it sees Fautzi drop dissected percussion. Rounding off the release is «Unprincipled». Centred on a driving rhythm, it’s a dense affair, grounded in textured percussion and powered by tough kicks.
